Annual Membership Refund Policy

All annual membership purchases (Core and Pro plans) are non-refundable.

When you purchase an annual membership to SyncForge, you are committing to a full year of access to premium features, including:

  • Unlimited brief submissions
  • Document generation (split sheets, licenses)
  • Priority support
  • Access to Core/Pro-exclusive opportunities

Because you receive immediate access to all premium features upon purchase, we cannot offer refunds for any portion of your membership term.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. However:

  • No refunds will be issued for the remaining portion of your annual term
  • Your access to premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle after cancellation
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free tier when your paid period ends

Example: If you purchase an annual membership on January 1st and cancel on June 1st, you will continue to have full access to all premium features until December 31st (the end of your paid period). No refund will be issued for the unused months after cancellation.

Exceptions

We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors
  • Billing errors on our part (e.g., charged incorrect amount)
  • Significant platform downtime preventing use of paid features
  • Unauthorized charges (subject to verification)

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge occurring and must include documentation supporting your claim.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution
  • You may lose access to all platform features, including submitted content
  • We may provide transaction records and terms of service to your payment provider

We strongly encourage you to contact our support team first to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Free Tier

The Free tier of SyncForge does not require payment and is not subject to this refund policy. You may use the Free tier indefinitely at no cost, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Sync Placement Fees

This refund policy applies only to membership subscriptions. Fees earned from sync placements are governed by separate licensing agreements and are not subject to refund once distributed.
